Tell the Senate: Pass Democracy Reform Now
And vote “yes” on S. 1, the For the People Act
The historic turnout in the 2020 election demonstrated the determination of the American people to have their votes counted. That so many Americans — particularly Americans of color — had to overcome countless barriers to the ballot box should shame us as a nation. But what we have seen also reflects a will to move forward with systemic change to ensure that our political system reflects the diverse and multicultural society that we are.
Let’s keep moving forward today. Tell your senators to vote “yes” on S. 1, the For the People Act, and make voting fair and accessible, get big money out of politics, and hold public officials accountable. Tell them to make our democracy more inclusive.
