Federal Appeals Court Rules Michigan’s Proposal 2 Unconstitutional

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit on Nov 15 ruled that Michigan’s Proposal 2 was unconstitutional and a violation of the Equal Protection Clause. Proposal 2 was enacted in 2006 to ban race-conscious measures in education, public contracting, and public employment. Judge R.
