The Western Center on Law and Poverty will honor EJS Co-Founder and past President Eva Paterson tomorrow, October 19, at its Garden Party 2023, a fully immersive indoor/outdoor and live-streamed event in Los Angeles benefitting WCLP’s fight in courts, cities, counties, and the Capitol to secure housing, health care, and a strong safety net for Californians with low incomes.
Other awardees include Harry Belafonte and Gina Belafonte; Covington & Burling, LLP; and Yolanda Arias of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
