What else must we do
Beyond how we’ve survived
From the first day we arrived?
What else must we show
Beyond our blood and tears
From the scars flayed by your fears?
What else must we speak
Beyond “I Am A Man”
To get justice in this land?
What else must we pray
Beyond our righteous cause
To get redress from your laws?
What else must we bear
Beyond harms that we’ve known
From the evils that you’ve shown?
What else must we be
Beyond what we have been
To have freedom from your sin?
