Ambassador Jim Hormel, Quinn Delaney Have a Challenge for Us

Spring is upon us, the sun is shining and I am pleased to share exciting news.

For over a decade, the Equal Justice Society has been at the forefront of innovative legal thought leadership about racial inequality. We think about race, talk about race and fight for racial equality because – like you – we know race still matters.

To prepare for another decade, our dear friends Ambassador Jim Hormel and Quinn Delaney have posed a unique challenge for our 2014 Spring Campaign.

They are challenging the Equal Justice Society’s community of friends and allies – existing and new – to match their confident investment in the Equal Justice Society.

Their challenge to you: match our $50,000 gift by June 1, 2014! Gifts made before June 1, 2014, to the Equal Justice Society will be matched dollar per dollar.

The deadline has been dropped and we’re still matching donations dollar-for-dollar for an indefinite period of time!

Our Board of Directors has accepted the challenge. To date, they have raised $11,930! UPDATE: $40,259 has been raised so far as of May 6!

Help us reach $50,000 by June 1, 2014. Donate online today or mail a check to: Equal Justice Society (1999 Harrison Street, Suite 800, Oakland CA 94612).

This is a special opportunity to first-time donors and existing donors to pledge their support for the Equal Justice Society while doubling the impact of their gifts.

Thank you for your solidarity,

Eva Paterson
President, Equal Justice Society
