#ReleaseTheReport: Get notified of major action

Mueller’s report has now been handed to the Justice Department for Attorney General Bill Barr’s review. Congress has been notified of the transfer, a Justice Department spokeswoman just announced.

We will not activate because Mueller’s findings have been handed over to AG Barr. However, if Barr/Trump hides the report from the public, we will take the streets again to demand that they #makeitpublic & #releasethereport.

Nobody is above the law. When Trump appointed Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general—in a blatant attempt to undermine special counsel Robert Mueller and derail the investigation—Trump crossed a red line.

The Equal Justice Society is part of a national Nobody is Above the Law coalition. This coalition responded by launching over 500 protests nationwide, attended by over 100,000 people.

If Trump crosses one of the following “red lines,” we will take to the streets again:
  • Firing Mueller.
  • Pardons of key witnesses.
  • Actions that would prevent the investigation from being conducted freely, such as replacing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Mueller’s current supervisor, or repealing the regulations establishing the office.
  • The Mueller investigation releases findings showing significant wrongdoing by Donald Trump. Or Congress or the administration blocks the public from seeing Mueller’s findings.
Find an event near you and sign up to be notified of the next major protest. Join us to defend the rule of law, because nobody is above the law—not even the president.
