Congressman Al Green to Speak at Oakland Town Hall on Impeachment and the Racism of the Trump Administration

A town hall focusing on Donald Trump’s racist abuse of power will feature remarks from Congressman Al Green of Texas and others on topics such as: an eyewitness account of Latino children locked in cages at detention centers in Clint, Texas; the rapid rise of mass incarceration and the profiteering off the incarcerated through private prisons; the experiences of Black migrants trapped in Mexico due to the racist policies of the current administration; and proposed remedies to the racism of the Trump administration.

  • Linh Nguyen, Indivisible East Bay Chapter
  • Bill Ong Hing, Professor of Law
  • Dorsey Nunn, Executive Director of Legal Services for Prisoners with Children
