EJS mourns the loss of Justice Ginsburg, a trailblazer, breaker of glass ceilings, legal icon, and SHEro. We express our condolences to the Ginsburg family and her loved ones on her passing and vow to honor her last wish that her vacant seat be filled by the next President.
We must not allow this vacancy on the Supreme Court to be filled this year. Any Trump nomination to the Supreme Court this close to the election would be illegitimate and must be rejected. To paraphrase the words of that great labor song, “Don’t mourn. Organize,” we must mourn and organize.
