Equal Justice Society President Lisa Holder and Board Member Donald K. Tamaki are among the reparations movement leaders interviewed in a new documentary that debuted today on abc7news.com and the station’s various streaming apps.
The documentary is presented by Julian Glover, the Emmy® and Edward R. Murrow Award-winning ABC7 News anchor. The special aims to uplift the stories of families who could be repaired by reparations, explores the groundbreaking work of the reparations task force, and examines the package of legislation being proposed, and if there is the political will to pass it.
The Alliance for Reparations, Reconciliation, and Truth (ARRT) is partnering with ABC7/KGO-TV on community awareness and engagement of the documentary. EJS is a core partner of ARRT.
